A tribute to our late Goldendoodle Stella. I would say she was about the best pet of my life, even considering the basset hounds that I grew up with. We miss her dearly.
Mrs. Best Keys - this project is finally happening soon.
A major Glass Flute Update
Some archives - photo essays from the past on flute making and on casting metal
I am probably going to keep postponing The Winter Nurse Journal. Other resources for wannabe flute and woodwind makers are out there. I might simply do a few posts here about where to find these. I’ll turn the Winter Nurse Journal into something else - maybe a creative writing page with short stories, opera librettos, screenplays, occasional comic strips, absurd ephemera, a few short novels such as the one about all the different Wagner Ring stagings (the structure of this sci-fi novel is similar to The Beaver Papers. Recipes. Tonight nancy made some coconut cream -based Tapioca which was superb. I added some Cluizel Cacao powder to it along with a little bit of maple syrup - and it was like WOW!!! Still haven't watched the above. Yesterday was way too busy. But today I'll relax some. I was hoping to go west for some paleo but we are getting a major November windstorm. Rainy and wet and the Bridge could even shut down. And I got something going on with my eyebrow and the skin underneath. Probably just a zit but I am hoping to get it looked at. Its probably simply irritation from my Borg Prosthetic.
So the bird feeders are locked and loaded. The pretty one Isabel gave us is temporarily decommissioned and being used for Suet. I have a new one that will allow for several hummers - and it won't drip sugar water on the deck all summer, attracting ants. We'll see if there are more or the same Douglas Squirrels - and my finger still hurts.
