I was slightly saddened to see that you withdraw somewhat from facebook, but I toootally understand (as I try to figure out ways of doing that myself). I'm super interested in following your work on the Laurent flutes. I'm also really curious about how the resin printing of the folk flutes is going. But I'll get used to looking for you in my email.

My apprentice might make it down here in October (I am increasingly skeptical that she will make it down from Canada per the current COVID trajectory - see the latest post at yourlocalepidemiologist.substack.com ) and will be trained in that topic. I am still getting the last wooden flutes out the door mostly until about mid September, and then full time on the Laurent flutes afterwards.

Facebook is just too cumbersome - and sometimes a post will vanish halfway as I am typing it, which is a time consuming waste. Also attention spans are short and nobody on Facebook reads beyond 2-3 sentences I suspect. Its all grouped there with Twitter and Instagram. Substack is set up as an authoring platform and it is VERY easy to use. So far I am loving it.
