Where to Follow the War News

I want to quickly point out to my readers that my gleeful posts are commonly written on days in which I can barely contain myself in response to depressing global emergencies such as Climate Change and the fact that we are rushing towards the endpoint of the Largest Mass Extinction Ever before the next century. I’m not exaggerating. Add in Covid and the Insanity of Trump Republicans and their attempts to take away our voting rights and Democracy, along with everything else and give it away to the Russian Oligarchy that they are apparently beholden to. Its astonishing and infuriating when Tucker Carlson and Marjorie Taylor Green back Putin. In the past we called such people Traitors and stopped listening to them. Now this is called “Fair and Balanced”.

Everyone has too much on their plates, including ongoing wars we have forgotten. Its as if World War Two never ended. If we keep at it until September 1939, we will reach the century mark and can call it the 100 Years War.

We apparently weren’t busy enough. Mr. Putin decided that this was the time to destroy Ukraine. He incorrectly assumed that his march into Kiev would be a Cakewalk into Town, and the Russians would be greeted with people holding flowers and smiling faces. Now he simply wants to obliterate it out of spite. Most, he figured, could barely pinpoint Ukraine on map. As it turns out, the News gets Live Streamed way beyond anyones’ attempt to censure it. That and the sheer size of this war against an innocent country led by a former comedian who Trump unsuccessfully tried to coerce made it difficult to hide or get done quickly.

I could go on and on. I just deleted several paragraphs of analysis. Instead, I highly recommend turning off the news and stopping all internet doom surfing. Instead of these activities, follow these two. You will get a daily summary of the news that is important and thorough enough to keep you well informed:

John Aravosis - John does a daily stream at 4PM PDT (10AM PDT on Weekends) on YouTube, Facebook and other platforms - except TikTok. He was booted off of there (livestreaming specifically) when Russian Trolls complained that his reporting the news was “Hate Speech”. Rolling Stones is doing an article on this!
